VET CLINIC UNPAID WAGES
vet tech.png

Do you work or did you previously work for a veterinary clinic or animal hospital chain?

If you worked as a veterinary technician, assistant, receptionist, groomer, or in a similar role, you may be owed wages your employer failed to pay you.
Veterinary employers must properly classify their workers, pay for all hours actually worked, pay overtime when it's earned, and provide meal and rest breaks required by law. If any of the following happened to you, you may have a claim:

You were classified as exempt or as an independent contractor, but your day-to-day work looked like that of a regular hourly employee.

You clocked out but kept working — finishing charts, cleaning exam rooms, restocking, or handling emergency walk-ins off the clock.

You worked more than 8 hours in a day or 40 in a week and weren't paid overtime, or overtime was calculated incorrectly.

You skipped meal breaks or rest breaks because the clinic was short-staffed, and were never compensated for it.

You were required to arrive early or stay late for tasks like opening/closing procedures, inventory, or handoffs that were never counted as work time.

If any of this sounds like your experience, we want to hear from you. Your consultation is free, and there is no obligation.

We may follow up with you by phone and text pursuant to our privacy policy. By signing up, you agree to our terms and conditions.
