AIR AMBULANCE WAGE CLAIMS
rescue_helicopter.png

Nurses and EMTs that work on air ambulances who don’t get paid overtime for working more than 40 hours in a week may be entitled to significant compensation for unpaid wages.

The nurses and EMTs that work on air ambulances often work 24-hour shifts, a few times a week. That means working more than 40 hours in a given week. Many states require employers to pay overtime for every hour over 40. But many air ambulance companies routinely break these laws. The companies might not count hours spent sleeping or they might only pay overtime for hours worked over 96 in two weeks, instead of paying for every hour over 40 each week.

We recovered more than three-times the backpay owed to Air Medics in a recent case.
